Hi, Tonie! Yes, I actually went back to work for the City after I retired and after I finished taking a little time off to plan my daughter's wedding. I enjoy FRISCO ~ such a friendly town! I seem to recall that we met "way back in the day" (I think you were in real estate at the time???? but I thought we met at a NAPO event but could be......and probably am.........mistaken) I thought even then that you were someone to emulate. . . . a true mover and shaker! I still follow your career via LI/FB and am always encouraged by your optimism, tenacity, and energy. You are truly an amazing gal! I do a little notary work on the side myself and have started a vintage wedding rental business. I hope our paths continue to cross as I consider you a TRUE cheerleader and INSPIRATION for not only myself but many success minded women. Thanks for taking the time to contact me! A friend of mine in THE COLONY actually mentioned you at our bookclub meeting a few weeks back. You are well respected in the community where you reside and the greater Dallas area.
Marty & I have met many times throughout the years and you never know how your effecting others with your positivity, caring, and passion through what you do in life. Reach out and give everyone you meet a helpful hand even at your own expense. I promise you the "rewards of giving" far out-way the "monetary loss" of the giving. This letter is posted on my wall in the office now! Let who inspires you know today how important they are in your life, you never know how it might effect them...
So today I was previewing another notary company for doing work with and saw blatant Unauthorized Practice of Law aka UPL. As a Notary Public we CANNOT ever do this:
Forms Available Upon Request
Bill of Sale
Unsecured Loan Agreement
Texas State ID Replacement
Authorization for non-parent caregiver
Employment (I-9) verification
International Travel Release - Minors
↑ We NEVER provide forms to our clients for their protection. That is attorney's job. (only exception is if the notary is attorney in same state they also hold notary license in)
If you see this on a website or social media please be kind enough to call and ask them to remove it / not provide forms or they can lose their notary licenses by the Secretary of State.
Thank you for letting me do a Public Service Announcement ~ Warmly, Tonie Boaman
